Face to face diagnostic dyslexia assessment
For adults and children aged 8+
This comprehensive assessment investigates a person's cognitive profile, including underlying ability, working memory, phonological awareness and processing speed. In addition, reading, comprehension, spelling and handwriting are evaluated by the specialist assessor to support adults and children facing specific learning difficulties.
After the assessment the specialist assessor will provide verbal feedback and a diagnostic report.

Face to face dyscalculia screening
For adults and children aged 7+
This screening tests underlying ability, working memory, processing speed, attainment in maths and number sense to identify dyscalculic tendencies, a neurodevelopmental condition affecting mathematical understanding.
In addition to verbal feedback, the written report will recommend intervention strategies, including onward referral to a specialist teacher, to help the learner achieve their potential with school/university support.

Face to face dyscalculia diagnostic assessment
For adults and children aged 8+
This in-depth assessment is conducted by a qualified Educational Psychologist and explores underlying cognitive ability, working memory, processing speed, mathematical attainment, number sense and aspects of executive functioning. The assessment provides a clear, formal diagnosis of dyscalculia where appropriate and includes detailed verbal feedback, along with a comprehensive report outlining strengths, difficulties and practical recommendations for support.

Face to face Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder diagnostic assessment
For young people and adults aged 16+. Conducted by an Occupational Psychologist, this assessment explores attention, concentration, impulse control, executive functioning, working memory and behavioural regulation. It formally diagnoses ADHD and includes a comprehensive report outlining strengths, areas of difficulty and practical recommendations for support at home, in education and in the workplace.

Face to face Developmental Coordination Disorder diagnostic assessment
For young people and adults aged 16+. Conducted by an Occupational Psychologist, this assessment explores motor coordination, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, processing speed and aspects of executive functioning. It provides a formal diagnosis of DCD and includes a comprehensive report outlining strengths, difficulties and practical recommendations for support at school, home, work and in daily life.

Workplace Needs Assessment
This is a practical follow-on for adults with a diagnosis of dyslexia, dyscalculia, DCD, ADHD or autism. It involves meeting the employee and a separate discussion with their manager to understand job demands, strengths and workplace challenges. The assessment focuses on identifying personalised strategies and reasonable adjustments, such as assistive technology or changes to workflow, to support effective performance at work. The report includes actionable recommendations and can support an Access to Work application.

Face to face and remote JCQ approved access arrangement assessments
For pupils in Years 10, 11, 12, 13
Access arrangements, such as extra time in exams, are reasonable adjustments for learners with learning difficulties. The assessments can be completed within the home, school, at our centre in Folkestone or remotely via Zoom.
Part 1 of Form 8 from the SENCo is required in advance.
